Vinitaly has just ended and, among the novelties presented during the fair, what most impressed us is undoubtedly Firriato's Sicilia DOC "Bayamore" , which we present today as an absolute preview on VINO75.

It is a late harvest of Merlot, Syrah and Frappato , which originates from the hills of the Baglio Sorìa estate. Bayamore was born from the desire to bring the most suitable red varieties in the area to a slight over-ripening without exceeding the sugar concentration and keeping the characteristics of freshness, elegance and good drink intact. The result is a sensual and enveloping wine , which presents to the nose with marked hints of ripe red fruits, which in the mouth translates into a marked and characteristic freshness that bewitches and seduces the palate, inducing another sip .
