Poderi Luigi Einaudi

Luigi Einaudi , the man who in 1948 would become the first President of the Republic elected by Parliament , was still a young man without means when in 1897 he bought the first farm in Dogliani. Convinced that agriculture would bring Piedmont out of the crisis, he undertook to make the Langhe territory grow, to the point that even in the years he spent in Rome, holding the highest offices of the state, he would never miss a harvest .

Year after year, even the quality has never been lacking : the Dogliani (93 pt Maroni) is a perfect example of this, a 100% Dolcetto that is pleasantly fresh on the palate, with an almond finish, therefore ideal to accompany appetizers, cold cuts and salami. Also worth tasting is Barolo Ludo , a wine of great depth, which reflects the sub-areas of origin of the Nebbiolo grapes from which it is composed: Bussia for power , Cannubi for elegance , Terlo for overall balance .

The Langhe Nebbiolo dei Poderi Luigi Einaudi is born in vineyards located on the rolling hills of Cannubi and Terlo Vie Nuove, in the municipality of Dogliani, in the heart of Piedmont.

It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30 ° C for about 8-10 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in wood for 12 months and for a further 2 months in glass.
