Tasca d'Almerita : six hundred hectares, five estates, two hundred years of history. The Tasca family has been guarding and cultivating the Sicilian land for eight generations, enhancing each of the five estates. Among these, Sallier de La Tour stands out, located in the heart of Monreale DOC, the territory of choice for Syrah, which with Syrah (92 pt Suckling) , with hints of black fruits and spices. Among the native vines grown on the estate are Grillo, Inzolia and Nero d'Avola. From the latter comes Nero d'Avola (93 pt Suckling) , with well-tamed tannins thanks to a long aging in French barriques.
