The mission of the San Marzano cooperative winery is: ""to make wine like our forefathers used to make and transform it into something unique and contemporary;” in-keeping with tradition but with a modern twist which turns it into something new.

With this objective in mind they have created the Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria (99 pt. Luca Maroni), one of the most emblematic labels of the company; the result expresses the eternal love of all the people of Puglia for their land. Not to mention the Primitivo di Manduria; (94 pt LM) and the Salento Bianco Edda (99 pt LM) which is made from vines growing by the sea in the Salento region. the story of a land in a glass of wine.

Established in 1962, by 19 passionate vine growers, San Marzano is an example of a successful cooperative winery, which has expanded to include over 1200 winegrowers, producing high-quality, sophisticated wines in keeping with the wine-making traditions of Puglia. A small town situated in the area where they make the Primitivo di Manduria, washed by the waves of two seas, the Ionian and the Adriatic, which give the wines their sparkle and saltiness.
