San Patrignano

A house on a hill, a farm, a vineyard. The history of the San Patrignano winery originates in the late 1970s when Vincenzo Muccioli decided to create a community based on solidarity.

Over the years the vineyards extend to over 100 hectares. In the mid-90s the turning point: the wine acquired value and body. Transforming it into an excellence of the territory for the kids becomes a challenge.

Each processing phase is carried out with full respect for the environment: photovoltaic panels, recycling and use of materials that are not harmful to nature are the basis of San Patrignano's activity. The wines of the cellar are characterized by great elegance and have obtained, in recent years, the most prestigious awards both nationally and internationally.

The Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore Ora by San Patrignano comes from vineyards located on the Coriano hills, managed exclusively under biodynamic conditions.

It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes. The vinification takes place with a maceration on the skins for about 3 weeks, with periodic pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 12 months and for a further period in the bottle.

Noi San Patrignano is a wine produced with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes coming from vineyards located in the Rimini area, in the low hills and near the Adriatic Sea.

A prolonged harvest for the right maturation of the single varieties gives grapes for a fermentation carried out in steel at a controlled temperature. This is followed by an aging of 12 months in second passage barriques and a subsequent stay in the bottle for another 12 months.
