Soave

The Soave production area extends over the hilly area east of Verona, of which the oldest and most famous area is that of the municipalities of Monteforte d'Alpone and Soave, which preserve the most suitable cru of the Soave Classico . The soils of these hills are of ancient volcanic origin , with a prevalence of black basaltic rocks, extrusions of tuff and limestone veins, which give the wine deep mineral and sapid notes . In the historic parcels of the Soave area, old centenary vineyards of Garganega still survive, planted freely on ancient volcanic soils , a heritage of extraordinary value, capable of giving white wines of rare intensity and aromatic depth.

Soave wine has an interesting olfactory heritage linked to the aromas of white flowers and fruity notes . It is mainly characterized by balance and harmony, which gives the wine a pleasantly soft and enveloping sip. Soave is one of the most long-lived Italian whites and the long refinements in the bottle are able to give evolutions towards elegant hints of hydrocarbon .
