bbq wine pairing

Where do you prefer to have your barbecues in the summer? Wherever you are, mountain, sea, countryside or lake, take advantage of our selection of wines perfect for grilled meat! Light red wines, such as Pinot Noir and Bardolino , pair perfectly with white meats such as grilled chicken and turkey. These wines, served slightly chilled, enhance the smoky flavors of the meat without overpowering its delicate taste. A young Chianti can also accompany grilled sausages well, offering a balanced combination of acidity and tannins that cleanse the palate between bites.

For red meats, such as steaks and ribs, a fuller red wine is ideal. Syrah or a Primitivo from Puglia, with their robust structure and fruity notes, go perfectly with the intense flavors of the meat. These wines manage to balance the juiciness and intensity of the grill, creating a rich and satisfying tasting experience. In particular, Primitivo , with its notes of berries and spices, offers a delicious contrast with spicy or herbal marinades. By choosing the right wine, your summer barbecue will become an unforgettable experience.
