Description

Barbera d'Alba Sovrana is produced by Batasiolo, owned by the Dogliani family, who have been making wine in the Langhe region for over four decades.

This wine is made from 100% Barbera grapes, which are destemmed and fermented for 10-12 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged partly in French oak barriques and partly in Slavonian oak barrels, before being finished in stainless steel tanks.

Ruby red in color with purple reflections, it offers aromas of red fruits, cherries in alcohol, and spicy notes. The palate is fresh and intense, with excellent persistence.

Perfect match for cured meat appetizers, first courses, and grilled red meat.
