Description

The Rosso di Montepulciano by Poliziano is produced from vineyards located in the municipality of Montepulciano.

It is made from 80% Sangiovese grapes and 20% Merlot grapes, exclusively hand-picked. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature for 10-12 days. The wine then matures partly in barriques and partly in stainless steel vats for about 8 months before being bottled.

This Rosso di Montepulciano is characterized by a ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals hints of red fruits, enhanced by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate, it is youthful, full-bodied, and pleasantly fruity.

Perfect with appetizers and cold cuts, it is ideal paired with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
