Salento IGT Rosato Negroamaro Kreos 2016 Castello Monaci

The Salento Rosato Negroamaro Kreos of Castello Monaci was born in the municipality of Salice Salentino, from vineyards with an enviable exposure to the sun, caressed by the wind mitigated by the two Ionian and Adriatic seas.

It is the result of only Negroamaro grapes, harvested by hand in the cooler hours of the morning. After a soft pressing, the must ferments with a very short contact with the skins until it reaches a bright pink color.

The nose perceives floral and fruity notes that blend in a perfect balance. On the palate it is elegant and voluminous, with a pleasantly long and fruity finish.

Ideal to combine with appetizers and tasty first courses, this rosé lends itself to accompany white meats, fresh cheeses and fish.

This wine is inspired by the mythological figure of Eos, goddess of the dawn, appealed by the Greek poet Homer "goddess with pink fingers" because of the effect that it was possible to admire in the sky at dawn, once his tears, plants for the death of the son killed by Achilles turns into dew.
