Description

The Clos Sainte Hune vineyard is the primary source of pride for the Trimbach winery, a historic and respectable vineyard located in the center of the Grand Cru Rosacker, in the village of Hunawihr, and has been its monopoly for more than 200 years. The plants of Riesling only, with an average age of 50 years, are cultivated on a mainly calcareous soil providing this noble Alsatian vine with the possibility of expressing a concentration in the fruity component and of the elegant mineral features without equal. Produced in 8000 bottles per year, it is an extremely rare and sought after treasure by collectors.

At the end of an extremely accurate white winemaking and maniacally followed in each of its phases, this pearl of Alsace stays in the cellar for at least 5 years before being made available on the market.

Deep straw yellow, it reels elegant iron and flint notes on the nose. Fresh, vibrant and aristocratic, it concludes with a persistent and complex final symptom of an incredible longevity that does not fear from 7 to 10 years of aging in the bottle.

Ideal with smoked fish, salmon and trout above all, but also with all poultry.
