Description

Alta Langa Brut Cuvée 36 Mesi by Gancia is a premium Metodo Classico sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes grown in the hills of Alta Langa. This wine represents one of the most refined expressions of the Piedmontese sparkling wine tradition, crafted according to rigorous quality standards in the Cantine Storiche Gancia.

The grapes are gently pressed using the traditional Marmonnier press, vinifying only the free-run must. The must ferments in barriques and stainless steel vats before being blended into the cuvée. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle with selected yeasts, followed by aging on the lees for at least 36 months under controlled temperature conditions.

It displays a bright straw-yellow color, with fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is harmonious and intense, offering notes of fruit, fresh yeast, and bread crust; on the palate, it is dry, fresh, and well balanced, with lively acidity that lends great elegance.

Excellent with aged cheeses, mushroom risottos, or main courses based on white meats.
