Description

The Hundred Sixty Six by Fontanafredda is an exclusive sparkling wine, limited to only 6000 bottles, produced entirely from carefully selected Pinot Noir grapes. These grapes grow in vineyards located between 400 and 600 meters above sea level, on clayey soils with layers of sand and calcareous marl, exposed to the south and south-west, ensuring optimal maturation.

Winemaking follows the traditional Classic Method, with disgorgement taking place only after 105 months of aging on the yeasts, an extended period that helps to develop unique aromas and extraordinary complexity.

It has a brilliant golden yellow color and green reflections, underlined by a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is rich and complex, dominated by notes of wildflower honey and spices, enriched by notes of toasted dried fruit and bread crust. In the mouth, the structure of Pinot Noir is evident, balanced by a freshness and flavor that lead to a long and persistent aftertaste.

Perfect as an aperitif but it is also able to elegantly accompany the entire meal, thanks to its distinct personality and its gastronomic versatility.
