Description
The Alta Langa Rosé by Gancia is an elegant expression of the Metodo Classico, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the vineyards of Alta Langa in Piedmont. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected in crates to ensure the fruit's integrity until pressing.
A portion of the grapes is left in contact with the skins to extract the characteristic pink color before soft pressing. Fermentation occurs in barriques and steel, followed by the creation of the cuvée and bottle fermentation. The wine ages on the lees for at least 30 months at controlled temperatures, in line with Gancia tradition.
It stands out for its antique pink color with intense highlights, a harmonious bouquet with hints of citrus, red fruits, yeast, and bread crust. On the palate, it is fresh, complex, balanced, and savory, with a pronounced minerality.
Perfect to serve with fish carpaccio, tuna tartare, or dishes based on smoked salmon.
