Description

The Lagrein Riserva Prestige from Cantina di Bolzano originates from vineyards located within Gries, one of the districts of the municipality of Bolzano, in the heart of the Alto Adige DOC.

It is made entirely from Lagrein grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand from the end of September to the first half of October. Fermentation takes place in wooden barrels. Subsequently, the wine is aged for about 12 months in French barriques and large barrels before bottling.

The Lagrein Riserva Prestige is characterized by a dark garnet red color, with purplish highlights. On the nose, it expresses pleasant fruity scents of ripe cherries, enriched by notes of humus, vanilla, and cocoa. On the palate, it is intense and persistent, with soft and elegant tannins.

Perfect for accompanying red meats, this wine is ideal paired with game and aged cheeses.
