Description
Vigna Oberhof Pinot Nero Riserva is a red wine from Alto Adige produced by Abbazia di Novacella in the Cornaiano area, in Appiano, from vineyards located between 445 and 455 meters above sea level on glacial origin soils with a northwest exposure. Made from Pinot Noir grapes trained using the Guyot system, it represents an elegant and local expression of this variety, combining finesse, structure, and minerality.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by extended aging in barrique, partly new, and a further period of refinement in bottle. This process contributes to developing complexity, balance and aromatic depth, while maintaining precision and expressive finesse.
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color. On the nose, there are notes of black cherry, wild berries, dark chocolate, and fine spices. On the palate, it is elegant and structured, with taut tannins, lively acidity, and a subtle minerality that leads the sip towards a long and harmonious finish.
It pairs perfectly with dishes based on red meats, game, and refined land cuisine preparations.
