Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon 2015 Alois Lageder
Description
Alois Lageder's Alto Adige Sauvignon was born in the Tannhammer and Lehen vineyards, located in Terlano, in the heart of the Alto Adige DOC region.
It is produced exclusively with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, harvested between the beginning of September and the middle of October. The grapes undergo a soft pressing, then ferment in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages on the lees for about 4 months before being bottled.
This Sauvignon is characterized by a light yellow color with green reflections. The nose opens with a strong scent of gooseberry and elderflower, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is clean, aromatic, with a pleasant fruity aftertaste.
Perfect to accompany fish and shellfish dishes, it is ideal in combination with white meats, vegetables and noble poultry.
