Description
This Amarone della Valpolicella represents the Cru of excellence Veneta Zonin, located in the heart of the homonymous denomination.
It is made with Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, harvested rather late, with slight over-ripening, and placed in airy and dry environments for drying on the plateau for about 4 months. Then the red vinification is started, preceded by a week of premaceration of the must skins. Finally, the wine is left to mature in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 2 years. A further period of 6 months for the aging in glass follows.
It has a beautiful garnet red color with bright reflections. The nose comes broad, with hints of berries and dried plum, which are well supported by balsamic notes of excellent persistence. In the mouth it arrives majestic and incredibly enveloping, with fragrant aromatic notes that make it appreciate its flavor even more.
It accompanies with great elegance typical dishes of the great traditional cuisine, noble meats, highly seasoned cheeses.
