Description
Tommasi's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico was born in the La Groletta and Conca d'Oro vineyards located on the hills of Sant'Ambrogio, in the historic Valpolicella area.
It is produced with Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta grapes. The grapes are harvested in October and are then placed on racks in large fruit cellars where they dry for 3 months. The must ages in Slavonian oak barriques at a controlled temperature before being bottled.
Tommasi's Amarone Classico is characterized by an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is intense and with great finesse, enriched by pleasant hints of ripe cherries and plums. On the palate it is complex and velvety, full-bodied, with pleasant aromas of dried grapes.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
The wooden box contains 2 classic Venetian red wines from the Tommasi company.

Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore is produced with Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes.
The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks for about 15 days, then the must referments on the Amarone pomace for about 12-13 days, with continuous daily pumping over. The vinification takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels for about 18 months, and for a further 6 months in the bottle.
Of an intense ruby red, the nose is rich and spicy, enriched by pleasant notes of black pepper and hints of raisins. On the palate it is full, soft, with elegant notes of ripe cherries. Perfect to accompany red meats and white meats.
