Description

The Asti by Gancia is a sweet sparkling wine made from Moscato Bianco grapes grown in the Canelli area, the historic homeland of Italian sparkling wine production. The winemaking follows a meticulous process, aimed at preserving the natural aromaticity of the grapes as much as possible.

The pressing is gentle and the must is fractioned: only the noblest part, the flower must, is used. Kept at a low temperature until fermentation, it is then sparkling according to the Martinotti Method, which enhances the fruity and floral notes typical of Moscato.

It shows a golden yellow color with a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers an intense and aromatic scent with hints of exotic fruit, sage, and honey. The taste is sweet, fruity, and very balanced, with a delicate note reminiscent of the original grapes.

Perfect with leavened desserts, fruit tarts, and cream-based desserts.
