Description

True ambassadors of the denomination, the Barbaresco Producers manage a vineyard park of absolute excellence in the area. Asili is located south of the village of Barbaresco and has been known for centuries for the quality of its grapes. The vineyards are located on calcareous-clayey marl soils with the presence of sand and enjoy a sunny exposure facing south-west.

The bunches are subjected to fermentation in steel vats at a controlled temperature of 30°C, with maceration of the skins for approximately 30 days. The wine rests for 30 months in oak barrels and finishes refinement with 12 months in the bottle.

In the glass it has a garnet color, the olfactory profile is elegant and austere, with floral aromas, of currants and liquorice root and spices. The sip offers intense and spicy aromas, with fine and well-balanced tannins and a persistent finish.

To pair with pasta with ragù, small game and white and red meats.
