Description

The Barbera d'Asti Superiore from Canti's Premium Estate line is a red wine with great structure and personality, made from carefully selected Barbera grapes. It stands out for its intense and refined style, ideal for those seeking an important wine to pair with rich dishes or to enjoy during moments of meditation. The elegant bottle expresses the noble character of this Piedmontese denomination.

The vinification follows traditional methods with maceration on the skins to extract color, aromas, and structure, followed by prolonged aging which may include time in wood to harmonize the tannins and develop greater complexity. This process allows the wine to fully express the varietal characteristics of Barbera and to acquire good evolutionary capacity.

It appears as an intense ruby red with garnet reflections due to aging. The olfactory profile is deep and persistent, with hints of ripe red fruits and fine spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, intense, and enveloping, with well-integrated tannins that provide balance and long persistence.

It pairs perfectly with roast meats, game, and aged cheeses.
