Description

Barbera d'Asti Pomorosso 30 Vendemmie di Coppo comes from vineyards located south of the province of Asti, in Piedmont.

It is made from 100% Barbera grapes, harvested and selected only by hand in September. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in barriques for 14 months before being bottled.

The Pomorosso 30 Vendemmie di Coppo has a bright and crystalline ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant fruity notes of black cherry, blackberry and black currant, enriched with floral senori of violet. On the palate it is wide and fresh, characterized by a pleasant persistence

Excellent in combination with savory dishes such as Barbera wild boar morsels and gnocchi with hare ragout, this wine is perfect to accompany all red meat dishes and aged cheeses.
