Description

Barbera d'Asti of Cascina Carlot was born in vineyards located in Coazzolo, on the hills between Monferrato and the Langhe, in Piedmont.

It is produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, harvested only by hand. After destemming and crushing, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for about 10-12 days. Subsequently the wine refines in the same containers and for further 3 months in bottle.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with a rich and floral bouquet, with hints of iris and rose, enriched with pleasant aromas of raspberry and plum. On the palate it is pleasantly enveloping, with a warm and round body.

Perfect to accompany first courses, cold cuts and cold cuts, it is ideal in combination with dishes based on meat sauce, red meats and game.
