Barco Reale di Carmignano DOC 2014 Capezzana

The Barco Reale of Carmignano di Capezzana was born in the vineyards located in the Municipality of Carmignano, in the province of Prato.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Canaiolo grapes, harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in the bottle for about 3 months before being placed on the market.

This Barco Reale di Carmignano is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with purplish red hues. The wine has a sweet and ample bouquet, enriched with intense fruity hints and pleasant oak notes. On the palate it is pleasantly soft and voluminous, with medium density sweet tannins. The wine has a great balance of acidity, with a persistent sweet fruity aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany first courses, it is ideal in combination with red meats and white meats.
