Description

Barolo Beni di Batasiolo is born in the heart of the Langhe, a territory with extraordinary winemaking vocation where Nebbiolo expresses its utmost nobility. This wine represents one of the highest expressions of Italian oenology, able to combine tradition, territorial identity, and complexity. The hills in the production area, characterized by unique soils and microclimates, help to create a wine of great structure, depth, and longevity—an icon of excellence and authenticity.

Vinification involves destemming and fermentation with extended maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, accompanied by periodic pump-overs to facilitate aromatic and tannic extraction. Aging initially takes place in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a period in steel and further maturation in bottle, allowing the wine to reach balance, complexity, and elegance.

In the glass, it displays an intense garnet red color. On the nose, it offers a complex and typical bouquet, with notes of dried fruit, flowers, sweet spices, and toasted nuances, accompanied by delicate herbal undertones. On the palate, it reveals significant structure, supported by well-integrated tannins and pleasant freshness, which together provide balance, power, and elegance, with a long and rewarding finish.

It pairs perfectly with structured dishes based on red meats, game, roasts, and aged cheeses.
