Description

Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo Bussia was born in vineyards located in the lands of Monforte d'Alba in Piedmont, from a company that concentrates its production around the great red wines.

It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested during the first 15 days of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for about 30 days. It ages for about 6 months in stainless steel tanks, then in barriques for 30 months.

Bussia is characterized by an intense garnet red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet, with hints of spicy rose and licorice. On the palate it is dry and full-bodied. The wine has a marked tannins and a persistent aftertaste.

It is perfect to accompany aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with game and red meats.
