Description

The Barolo Cannubi Riserva of the Astemia Pentita company was born in vineyards located in the most suitable Cru of the entire Barolo DOCG.

It is produced entirely with Nebbiolo grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins for 30-35 days, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 36 months in cask and for further 24 months in bottle, before being placed on the market.

It is characterized by a ruby red color, with slightly garnet reflections. The nose opens with a rich and intense bouquet, with hints of red fruits enriched with almost balsamic spicy notes. On the palate it is full and full of character, with a well integrated persuasive tannin.

Perfect to accompany red meats, roasts and game, this Barolo is ideal in combination with truffles and aged cheeses.
