Description

The Barolo from the Canti Premium Estate line is a prestigious still red wine, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the renowned crus of the Langhe. Considered one of the symbols of Italian oenology, it comes across as an austere and profound wine, suitable for important moments and special occasions, thanks to its complex structure and remarkable ageing potential.

The winemaking process involves a long maceration on the skins and fermentation at a controlled temperature, followed by prolonged ageing that includes time spent in oak barrels to develop elegance, balance and aromatic intensity. This process allows the wine to fully express the noble characteristics of Nebbiolo.

In appearance, it shows a deep garnet red colour with orange highlights. The nose offers rich and complex aromas, with notes of wild berries, spices and pleasant nuances of warm leather. The palate is robust and enveloping, with distinct hints of liquorice and blackberry, accompanied by a structured body and a persistent finish.

It is ideal to pair with red meats, major roasts and game dishes.
