Description

This Barolo dell'Astemia Pentita, unlike the cru, is the result of an assembly of grapes from different vineyards of the denomination, whose characters mix to give life to a wine of particular interest.

100% Nebbiolo, is the result of a red vinification with 30-35 days spent in maceration, followed by an aging in barrels of a duration of not less than 36 months.

Ruby red in appearance with garnet reflections, it offers intense floral scents on the nose, which are accompanied by elegant notes of cherry and blackberry. Hints of wood and licorice combine to complete the picture. In the mouth it is characterized by a good tannic texture and a slight freshness that are combined with an important structure that contributes to the overall balance.

Excellent with roasts and game dishes, it goes well with all truffle recipes.
