Description
This white wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in the 0.27 hectare Clos de la Féguine vineyard.
It is made entirely of Chardonnay grapes, which are softly pressed. The must rests for 36 hours at a controlled temperature, before being fermented in oak barrels, where the wine then remains to refine for 19 months.
Straw yellow with golden reflections. The nose offers hints of fresh yellow fruit such as apricot and peach, enriched with toasted, spicy and flint notes. The sip is fresh and savory, with a mineral finish.
To pair with shellfish appetizers.
