Description
Black Seal is the name by which this rum typical of the Bermuda archipelago is recognized. Among the few dark rums still on the market, for some time it was sold in champagne bottles sealed with black sealing wax.
It is the union of three rums of Caribbean origin, obtained partly by distillation in a continuous still, characteristic of grappas, and partly in pot still, in the manner of great cognacs. The result is an unparalleled mix of aromas and elegance, the result of an aging ranging from 3 to 6 years.
Almost impenetrable dark amber in color, it has a deep and elegant aroma, well balanced between notes of caramel and vanilla. On the palate it is rich, complex and soft.
Excellent straight or for the preparation of Rum Swizzle and Dark 'n Stormy cocktails.
