Description

Valtuille El Val is a white wine obtained from a single plot located in one of the coolest areas of Valtuille de Abajo. The west-facing exposure and soil made up of clay and stones allow for a slow and complete ripening of the Godello grapes, resulting in a wine of great refinement and structure. The vines are over 20 years old and are cultivated with low yields to ensure quality and concentration.

The harvest is manual and the grapes are destemmed and pressed, with the must kept cold for 24 hours. The wine then ferments and ages in oak barrels for one year, without racking until bottling, which takes place just a few days before the next harvest.

It offers aromas of ripe fruit, white flowers and mineral notes. On the palate, it is broad, savoury and well-balanced, with a fine structure and long finish that reflects the elegance of its origin.

It pairs perfectly with seafood starters, baked fish or delicate risottos.
