Description

Bolgheri Rosso Antillo from Podere Guado al Melo was born in the renowned hilly area of Bolgheri DOC, in Tuscany.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. After fermentation at controlled temperature, the wine ages for about 12 months in oak barriques. Subsequently it ages for further 3 months in bottle.

Bolgheri Rosso Antillo is characterized by a deep purplish red color. The nose opens with a refined and intense bouquet of small ripe berries, enriched with hints of raspberries, blackberries and light spicy notes on the finish. On the palate it is fresh and lively, pleasantly structured and persistent, presenting a rich and balanced tannin.

Ideal to serve with cold cuts and salami, it is excellent to accompany first courses with savory meat sauces and game recipes.
