Description
The Bolgheri Rosso Caccia al Palazzo from Tenuta di Vaira is produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, grown on loamy-clay soils in the southeast-facing vineyards of Bolgheri.
The fermentation takes place in steel with prolonged maceration on the skins, while the aging occurs in cement tanks to keep the fruity component and taste balance intact.
In the glass, it displays an intense ruby red color, accompanied by aromas of ripe cherry and light mineral notes. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, and well-structured, with a persistent finish consistent with the olfactory profile.
Ideal with grilled meats, pasta with ragout, and mushroom-based dishes.
