Description
The Bourgogne Aligoté by Maison Ropiteau Frères originates from one of the most historic regional denominations of Burgundy, which extends over more than 1,600 hectares. The soils are predominantly clay-limestone, but with significant local variations that significantly impact the character of the wine, making careful selection of the grapes essential to achieve the best possible expression of the variety.
This wine is made entirely from Aligoté grapes and vinified in stainless steel tanks, a choice that preserves the freshness and integrity of the fruit. The absence of wood enhances the aromatic purity and ensures a direct, fragrant, and immediate style, ideal for youthful and dynamic drinking.
It is pale straw yellow in color. The nose reveals floral scents accompanied by citrus notes. The palate is soft and full, with a finish that gently recalls hazelnut.
Perfect when paired with Burgundy ham, snails, eggs in red wine sauce, or cheeses like Beaufort.
