Description
Produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, Jean-Marc Vincent's Bourgogne Blanc originates in the vineyards of Côte de Beaune, particularly in Santenay, with parcels also in Auxey-Duresses, Puligny-Montrachet, and Montagny. The vines are over sixty years old and represent a vinicultural heritage of rare quality. Founded in 1997 by Jean-Marc and Anne-Marie Vincent, the estate carries on the vision started by grandfather André Bardollet-Bravard and is today among the most prestigious names in Burgundy.
The vineyard management adopts high planting densities; this philosophy encourages competition among the vines, resulting in superior quality grape clusters. In the winery, attention to detail is reflected in the use of gravity for moving the musts, gentle pressing for the whites, and extended aging on the lees in barrique, best expressing the character of the terroir.
In the glass, it opens with a bouquet rich in fruity aromas reminiscent of freshly picked fruit, accompanied by a pleasant mineral freshness. On the palate, it stands out for its juicy fullness and depth, balanced by an excellent compositional harmony that leaves a long and pleasant persistence after each sip.
It is an ideal wine to pair with fish dishes, shellfish, and delicate white meats, especially in preparations enriched with creamy sauces.
