Description

The Bourgogne Chardonnay by Marthe Henry is a dry white wine produced in Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, in Burgundy. Made from Chardonnay grapes sourced from selected plots, this wine reflects the producer's commitment to enhancing the terroir through organic farming practices and a low-intervention approach.

The winemaking process involves spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in used oak barrels, without fining or invasive filtration, in order to preserve the purity and expressiveness of the wine.

On the nose, there are notes of juicy pear, lemon zest, and white flowers, with a discreet buttery hint. On the palate, the wine offers vibrant freshness, marked minerality, and a balanced structure, with a long and elegant finish.
