The Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Vecchia of the Cantina Le Ragnaie is born in vineyards located on the Lume Spento pass, which is the highest point of the entire Montalcino area.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 40 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 36 months before being bottled.

Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Vecchia is characterized by a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of nutmeg, bay leaf and eucalyptus. On the palate it is pleasantly warm and elegant, with a delicate balsamic finish.
