Description

Josetta Saffiro's Barolos are the result of the care and enhancement of the vineyards in Monforte d'Alba, which the company has been carrying out for over 2 centuries and 5 generations, trying to express the Langa territory in its wines.

This box contains 3 different Barolo labels:

- Josetta Saffiro's first Barolo has an intense aroma of vanilla and toasted hazelnut, with hints of licorice, tobacco and blackberry. On the palate it is a wine of great structure and charm, on well-polished tannins. It pairs excellently with braised meats, game and all second courses based on red meat.

- Barolo Persiera also comes from the Castelletto cru and strikes the nose with its intense and refined bouquet, in which you can detect hints of small red fruits, spices, chocolate and balsamic notes. Thanks to its full and elegant taste it pairs perfectly with traditional Piedmontese meat dishes, braised meats, stewed wild boar.

- Barolo Riserva Millenovecento48 derives its name from a vineyard planted in the first post-war period, more precisely in 1948, and only a few bottles are produced. It is a wine for connoisseurs, with a ruby red color with strong garnet reflections, complex aromas and an austere and intriguing sip, which makes it a meditation wine or great to pair with elaborately prepared meat dishes.

It is a box designed for a classy gift.
