Description
The Castel del Monte Cosmatesco of Tor de 'Falchi was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Minervino Murge, on the hills of the Alta Murgia.
It is produced with pure Montepulciano grapes, harvested only by hand in the second half of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel wine tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages on the fine lees for 6 months in steel, 10 months in oak barriques and in bottles, before being put on the market.
The Cosmatesco of Tor de 'Falchi has a ruby red color, with intense purple reflections. The nose opens with an intense and elegant bouquet of ripe red fruit. On the palate it is intense and full-bodied, fruity and soft, with elegant tannins.
Perfect to accompany roasts and pasta with sauce, this wine is ideal in combination with white meats and cheeses.
