Description
Cava Brut Zeta is a sparkling wine produced in the Penedès region of Catalonia from Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada grapes, native varieties that best express the character of the territory. This wine represents a fresh and balanced style, typical of the Cava denomination, capable of combining elegance and versatility.
The production involves manual harvesting of the grapes and gentle pressing, using only the first-run juice. Fermentation occurs separately for each grape variety in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by a second fermentation in the bottle and aging on the lees, which adds complexity and finesse.
It shows a straw yellow color with golden highlights. On the nose, it offers a balanced bouquet with notes of ripe fruit such as apple and pear, citrus hints, and light tropical nuances, enriched by touches of dried fruit, yeast, and fresh bread. On the palate, it is structured and harmonious, with pleasant freshness, good creaminess, and a long, mineral finish.
It pairs well with vegetable-based dishes, shellfish, and seafood.
