Description
The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Hybla of Nicosia was born in vineyards located on the western side of Etna.
It is produced with Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in the second half of September. After a 10-day maceration in contact with the skins, the must ferments at controlled temperature for 3 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages in steel, in tonneaux and for at least 6 months in bottle before being released on the market.
Cerasuolo di Vittoria Hybla from Nicosia is characterized by a cherry red color, with bright purple reflections. The nose opens with intense fruity aromas, among which raspberries and blackberries stand out. On the palate it is soft, balanced and well structured.
Perfect to accompany first courses and grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with cold cuts and semi-mature cheeses.
