Description
The Champagne Grand Cru Extra Brut Monochrome of the Maison Paul Launois was born in the territory of Les Mesnil sur Oger in the Côte des Blancs.
The Chardonnay grapes are vinified for 65% in steel, for 5% in oak barrels. The wine also undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages on the lees for 24 months.
It is characterized by a straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with elegant aromas of citrus and lemon peel, as well as salty and mineral notes. The sip is fine and well balanced between minerality and flavor.
Excellent as an aperitif, it goes excellently with raw fish and shellfish.
