Description

The Champagne Grand Cuvée Rosé Alexandra of Laurent-Perrier is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Tours-sur-Marne, in the prestigious Champagne region. Conceived in 1982, this Champagne takes its name from the eldest daughter of the Nonancourt house, Alexandra, who celebrated her wedding 5 years later, together with the launch of this refined bubble.

It is mainly produced with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. This Champagne sees the light only in the best vintages for both varieties. After the classic vinification processes, the second fermentation takes place in bottle, according to the Champenoise Method, with ageing for 8 years on its lees.

Champagne Grand Cuvée Rosé Alexandra by Laurent-Perrier is characterized by a salmon pink colour, pale and delicate, and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens intense aromas of wild strawberries and red currants in jam, enriched with notes of candied fruit. On the palate it is soft and dry, with great minerality, with a long finish that recalls berries.

This Champagne is perfect to accompany fish, shellfish and seafood dishes.
