Description
Joseph Colin's Chassagne-Montrachet is a French white wine from the renowned Burgundy region. Made from Chardonnay grapes grown using non-certified organic and biodynamic practices, this wine reflects the authenticity of the Côte de Beaune terroir.
The vinification process includes fermentation in barrels, followed by aging in oak casks, which gives the wine complexity and structure. These traditional techniques enhance the varietal characteristics of Chardonnay, maintaining the balance between freshness and depth.
On the nose, one can sense aromas of white flowers and white-fleshed fruits, accompanied by light smoky notes. On the palate, the wine is round and full-bodied, with a balanced and persistent finish that highlights the typical minerality of the area's clay-limestone soils.
Ideal when paired with fish dishes, shellfish, or white meats.
