Description

The Chianti Classico Campobello was born on the slopes of the Florentine hills.

It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes, the dominant red grape variety in Tuscany, and 10% with Merlot, Canaiolo and Trebbiano.

Characterized by a deep ruby red color, it has violet reflections in the juvenile phase which tend to garnet with aging. The scent is pleasant and quite persistent, with hints of ripe red fruits and spicy nuances, given by a period of aging in barrique. The taste is dry, fairly structured, slightly tannic and soft. Overall it is a harmonious wine.

Ideal to accompany first courses, it is perfect in combination with red and white, stewed meat and game.
