Description
The Chianti Classico of Poggio al Sole is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, in the heart of the Chianti Classico.
It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes and 10% with other vines. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, then the wine ages in barriques for 12 months before being bottled.
This Chianti Classico is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a pleasantly fruity bouquet, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is full-bodied, with elegant and velvety tannins.
Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with red meats and aged cheeses.
