Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva Cortevecchia di Principe Corsini was born in vineyards located in the Florentine municipality of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the heart of the Chianti Classico DOCG.

It is produced mainly with Sangiovese and Colorino and Canaiolo grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 14 days. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 20 months in French oak barrels and tonneaux and for another 6 months in the bottle before being released on the market.

Cortevecchia di Principe Corsini has a deep red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with intense floral sensations, enriched with notes of plum, sour cherries, raspberry and cherries in alcohol, graphite and spices. On the palate it is fresh and structured, with soft tannins and a long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and game, it is ideal in combination with seasoned cheeses typical of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition such as pecorino.
