Description

The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Lamole of the Castelli del Grevepesa winery is born in vineyards located in the Lamole area.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 30 ° C for 12 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 30 months and for further 3 months in bottle before being put on the market.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a fresh and intense bouquet, with hints of violets and irises. On the palate it is young, robust, pleasantly full and dry. The wine is velvety, sapid and persistent.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
